Bas Gitinov is an investment professional with a strong foundation in energy markets, commodities, and quantitative finance. He holds a MSc in Energy, Trade & Finance at Bayes Business School (City, University of London) and previously earned a BSc in Economics and Finance from London School of Economics and Higher School of Economics, where he developed expertise in financial markets, statistics, and quantitative analysis.
Bas has gained experience across financial analysis, valuation, and fintech operations, including roles at B1-Consult (formerly EY Russia) and Destream Services, where he worked on asset valuation, transaction analytics, and strategic financial modelling. He has also led entrepreneurial initiatives in the commodities space, successfully structuring and launching a gold bullion coin project in partnership with international stakeholders.
