Dmitri is a seasoned investment executive with over three decades of experience in global financial markets, specializing in Emerging Markets.
Dmitri began his career at Chemical Bank in 1993, trading Brady bonds and un-restructured bank debt. Later he held significant roles at JPMorgan Chase, BNP Paribas and HSBC, driving growth and innovation while building strong relationships with institutional clients, governments, and corporate entities.
Beyond his trading and leadership roles, in the following years Dmitri has made significant contributions as a strategic advisor. As an Independent Director on the Board of Vozrozhdenie Bank, he provided oversight on Strategy, Audit, and Human Resources Committees, enhancing governance and operational efficiency of the bank. As the Vice-President of the St. Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange he led transformative initiatives, including expanding the exchange’s reach in domestic petroleum products trading and introducing derivatives to its commodities trading strategies, which bolstered market liquidity and diversification.
